About two sisters

Yes, we are actually sisters, born two-and-a-half years apart. We were fortunate in our choice of parents, both of them came with an abundance of creative talent that earned them national renown for restoring antique clocks, collecting and restoring dolls and as miniature artisans. Although we grew up in a small Central California Coast town, we were well introduced to the arts from painting to music, literature to fine crafts. 

Our independent adult lives took us in very different directions, but ultimately, in 2005, we found ourselves both living in San Luis Obispo County. Sher in south county and Bryn in the north. It didn’t seem unusual to us when we discovered we’d both gotten around to seriously pursuing our long held interests in art glass at the same time. Our skills and experiences compliment each other and we found it much more satisfying to do it together. We both work at home in our own studios, but technology and geography make it easy to share and encourage each other. We are our own support group, devoted to the process of manipulating glass and light.

So it was natural to become 2sisters glass. We hope, by example, to encourage you to follow your own creative muse, and/or collect a piece of our art glass.
